SparkSpace
Every library should be a place where children and young people feel they belong.
To achieve this, the library workforce must have access to high quality training in engaging children and young people and working co-creatively with them.
Thanks to funding from The Foyle Foundation, we can deliver this. Our SparkSpace learning module, plus toolkit and resources, will train the library workforce, staff and volunteers, in how to connect, engage and co-create with children and young people, including those with lived experience of marginalisation and deprivation.
Follow for updates. We will launch this resource ready to support your library service to engage and co-create with young people during the National Year of Reading 2026.
