Library networks
Libraries have always been about community.
We are a community of professional peers that you can rely on, through every step of your career.
Our collaborative network brings leaders in children’s public and schools library services together with children and young people and partners to co-create inspiring libraries.
Our member network includes public libraries and Schools Library Services.
We have national and regional networks, to bring collaboration to life through regular conversations, shared ideas, problem solving, knowledge exchange, and partnership opportunities.

What our members say
“The Libraries Rising member network gives me access to the specialist knowledge in engaging with families, children and young people, book recommendations and the massive ideas bank that is held in our members. Group chat is a fantastic resource. It is sometimes a lonely business shouting for children and young people’s library services and the network makes me feel supported.”
“It is invaluable to engage with like minded individuals working in same sector, sharing best practice, working through challenges and ideas.”
“Our shared aims and values, ensure we share best practice and benefit from bespoke training opportunities together. It’s great to be able to join up collectively for large projects regionally and nationally.”
