Members meet-up: Children’s Promise Review

The Children’s Promise is a shared commitment to help children and families feel welcomed, supported and inspired through library services. It sets out an ambition for libraries to make a positive difference in children’s lives by encouraging reading, learning, creativity, confidence and connection with their communities.

During the session, we’ll: 

• Share new updates on the Children’s Promise, Journey and Self-Assessment tool how you and your service can get involved 

• Get your thoughts on what’s working well (and what’s not!) 

• Explore what you and your service need from these tools and resources  
• Gather your ideas and feedback to help shape the next steps 

An hour to get together, no slides (well, maybe a couple), to share what we’re working on, hear what you think and find out how you can get involved. Bring your thoughts, your experience and a cuppa!

No problem! Come along to find out what it’s all about and help shape what happens next. You don’t need to be a member or know anything about the Promise to attend.
